William Aludo, Program Coordinator
William Aludo was born in Mombasa and raised in Kitere Village in Migori County, Kenya. He attended the University of Nairobi in Kenya where he graduated with a B.Com. degree in accounting. He earned a diploma in Christian Ministry and Counseling at the Rhema Bible Training Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa, and an M.A. in Sustainable Development from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. In 2013, he founded Global Sustainability, Inc., a non-profit that aims to facilitate development through locally based self-help programs in developing nations. William became EC’s Program Coordinator in 2016 and been responsible for carrying out EC’s programs throughout Kenya since that time.
Throughout his career, William has coordinated the implementation of student/youth programs including mentorship, leadership, discipleship and scholarship programs. His passion for helping youth is carried out in his commitment to leading monthly mentoring sessions at Bishop Donovan Secondary School. The school is located outside of Nakuru in Lanet Umoja, a five-hour drive from his home in Rongo. Along with being EC’s Program Coordinator, William is also the Chairman of the Board for Management for the Miruya Primary School. In addition, he conducts a camp for orphaned and vulnerable young adults three times a year, giving these students an opportunity to feel valued and important as he encourages them to have hope and discover their gifts and talents.
William lives in his picturesque family home in Rongo, Kenya. He is married to Beatrice Aludo and together they have two beautiful daughters.
