Join our campaign to raise $5,000 to build a new classroom at Miruya Primary School in Rongo, Kenya.

The Need: More Space for Students

Miruya Primary School currently has about 430 students enrolled. With the population of students increasing every year, the school does not have enough indoor classroom space for all of them. This means that many students sit outside for their lessons, pivoting their desks amongst the rocky ground throughout the day, under the shade of the trees, to avoid the hot sun.

The Solution: Build a New Classroom

Everyone’s Child, in partnership with the local community and school administration, is raising funds to build a new classroom at Miruya Primary School. This new classroom will allow for fewer students to have to sit outside for their classes and for the school to continue to grow in size.

What are we going to do? 

All of the funds raised through this fundraiser will go toward building this new classroom, brick by brick, at Miruya Primary School.  

How much will it cost? 
It costs approximately $10,000 to build a classroom. EC is fortunate to have already received $5,000 in donations, therefore, we are aiming to raise the remaining $5,000 through this fundraiser. As the classroom will be built brick by brick, we are motivated to work towards our goal of $5,000, donation by donation.
